It’s less than a week until Christmas!
How has this happened?
Back in November, I wrote a whole list of ideas that I was hoping to see, do and create this festive period, but I’ve hardly done anything at all. I’ve been struggling with the lack of daylight, and have found myself far too tired to write in the evenings after work, hence why this little gift guide is terribly late.
Fortunately, I finished my Christmas shopping a week ago, so at least I don’t have to worry about making a last minute dash to the shops. There is nothing worse than shopping during busy periods.
But, if you are still looking for any last minute gifts for friends, family, or maybe to just add to your own wishlist, I’ve chosen a selection of gifts that will hopefully inspire you.
Chloe is such a beautiful perfume. I first smelt it in Vogue on one of the advertising pages many years ago, and even to this day, I can’t get enough of it. It’s a timeless, long-lasting perfume that just makes you feel sophisticated, classy and feminine. I can’t recommend it enough for ladies who love a slightly powdery scent with notes of peony, freesia, and litchi.
The moreFit fitness tracker is a great gift to give to anyone looking to improve their fitness in the New Year. It is essentially the same as a Fitbit, but just a lot more reasonably priced if you don’t want to splash out. It includes a clock, pedometer, calorie checker, distance covered, sleep monitor, call alert, message and alarm and you can track your progress via an app connected to your phone.
A pretty Christmas jumper to wear on Christmas day makes a lovely gift for those who have run out of ideas. The jumper featured is from Next, and I think it’s a perfect addition to any winter jumper collection. The simple misletoe design makes it suitable to wear throughout winter, so you can be sure to make the most out of wearing it.
Anything from Accessorize makes a fabulous gift – the shop is a dream! Their range of jewellery makes for perfect little stocking fillers, particularly little dainty pieces such as a cute pair of sterling silver earrings, a plated rose gold cuff, or a pretty little ring with a Swarovski crystal.
As a big fan of Neals Yard products, I think they make a lovely gift to give to someone who a) wants to be kinder to their skin by using fewer chemicals, b) is vegan or against animal cruelty, or c)just deserves a good quality product that smells amazing (if they like the smell of cucumbers!) and is really refreshing on the skin.
Candles always make a great gift – they’re the option you turn to when you’ve run out of ideas. The candles from Beefayre are particularly great because they are made from natural plant wax and essential oils, so they are a lot safer for the planet and your health. They have a fantastic range of scents and really are quite potent.
Nothing says Christmas like a bright red nail polish! This particular shade by Essie is very festive, hard wearing and helps to brighten up any outfit. Plus, it makes the cutest little stocking filler, so need I say more?
Is deodorant an acceptable gift to give? Personally, I think it is, especially when it’s good quality and isn’t your average supermarket buy. This roll-on deodorant from Neals Yard contains no aluminium and is infused with essential oils. It also has a wonderfully fresh and invigorating scent.
Another great little stocking filler is Lush’s Lip scrubs which come in a range of different flavours. As it is winter, these scrubs really do help to scrub away any dead skin, leaving your lips feeling silky smooth throughout the colder months.
For the glitter lover, these rainbow glitter heeled boots really do make a statement. If you know someone who loves to add a little sparkle to their outfit, you will not disappoint by treating them to these bad boys!
The Tisserand rollerball oils also make a wonderful a stocking filler. They are perfect for on the go aromatherapy, and as they are made using pure essentials oils, they also benefit the mind and body as well. They can be bought singularly or in packs for the ultimate gift.
Personally, I think anything from Lush makes a lovely gift but as it is Christmas, you kind of have to choose something from the Christmas range – it would be wrong not to!
Lastly, I just had to include Jo Malone’s Peony & Blush Suede cologne because it is such a beautiful, luxury gift to give, and I’m sure whoever receives it will love it to pieces. This scent, in particular, oozes charm and is simply luxurious.
I hope you found this helpful.
Love Georgie ♥
